This illustration was created to show a small snd cozy kids space inside a Japanese-inspired garden, combining a sense of calm with a bit of playfulness. I started with a series of thumbnail sketches to figure out the concept, then built a simple 3D blockout in Blender to work out the composition and perspective.
The final illustration was painted in Procreate, where I focused clean shapes and soft colours.
