For this project, I wanted to make a Match 3 game that feels tactile and a bit playful — like something you could almost reach out and touch. I started by sketching out the main character and elements like mushrooms, buttons, and letters, then brought them to life using plasticine.
I also mixed in real natural materials like leaves, acorns, pinecones, and little sticks to keep everything feeling organic and imperfect in a nice way. After that, I painted the pieces with gouache and tempera and photographed them, keeping that handmade look while adapting everything for the game.
