This self-initiated project explores the design of a vinyl cover for a Christmas album by the Ukrainian folk band Shchuka Ryba.
I worked with a folk-inspired, naïve decorative style, combining it with modern flat shapes and bold color. The goal was to reinterpret traditional Ukrainian motifs in a more contemporary and graphic way, while keeping a sense of warmth and playfulness.
The visuals are built around simplified forms and rhythmic patterns, creating a festive atmosphere without relying on overly detailed elements. I focused on balancing ornament and clarity, so the design feels both expressive and readable as a vinyl cover.
