This project started from a brief to design a world that combines steampunk, cyberpunk, and a school setting. From that starting point, I developed the idea of an underground academy dedicated to preserving forgotten personal stories.
In this futuristic world, people have stopped caring about their own stories — unfinished poems, abandoned sketchbooks, and fragments of ideas. A small group of people from this futuristic city didn’t want to lose all these stories. They discovered an old academy hidden beneath the city. Now, together with moles, rabbits, and cats who live there, they collect and protect these lost pieces of personal history.
Each group has its role: moles act as archivists, carefully storing and organizing stories; rabbits work as researchers; and cats move through the city above, finding and retrieving stories that are about to be lost.
For this project, I designed characters, props, and the concept of the academy itself, blending mechanical and futuristic elements into a cohesive visual style. The goal was to create a playful, slightly surreal world filled with small narrative moments and a sense of quiet purpose.
