The task for this project was to create an illustration for a scientific magazine. I chose to show a cutaway of a bird’s nest, focusing on the process of how it’s built. I researched reference photos and scientific sources to better understand the materials birds use and their building methods.
I also studied the stages of nest construction to present the structure clearly and accurately.
